Help with identifying shifter and linkage

Looking for some parts experts here. The guy that I got the SSP parts car from was in the process of converting it from column to floor shift. This was the set up he was going to use. Our 71s should have a T handle - so any idea what this might have come out of? I looked for part numbers, but could not see any. I think I ran across a post that said that they went back to the ball shifters late in 73 or 74? Does the face plate and linkage look right for a 71? The ball comes right off with an allen wrench - would a T-handle mount right on there?
Thanks for the help in advance!
Scott.

That Slap Stik is out of non-other than a 1970 Barracuda or Challenger. A and C-bodies used the same knob for certain years but that short shift handle is most definitely from an E-body. 71-74 E and B-bodies used the T-handle.

I think you will be OK with mounting a T-handle as the mechanism is the same. You will likely need just the handle and the black plastic slider to match the rectangular profile of the T-handle as opposed to the round profile of the '70 ball shifter. Also keep in mind that 75-78[?] B-bodies like Cordobas, Magnums and 300s offerd a floor shift with a long version of the round shaft Slap Stik shifter.
