Does anybody have a 71 or 72 4 speed with a console, and have the console removed right now? I need some measurements on the mount brackets. Could I talk to you on the phone?

I do but I'm on nights right now, what do you need?

I need some measurements so I can install the brackets for the console. My car didn't have them.

you mean the floor brackets on the tunnel?

for the rear bracket, from end of tunnel to beginning of bracket - 11"




for the front bracket:

7" to the end



3 1/2" to hole cutout




1 7/8" on a angle to bracket

Thanks, thats just what I need. It never ceases to amaze me how non customer service these companies that make this stuff are. NOBODY, and I mean nobody that makes or sells this stuff ever wrote down the measurements on where they go.
