Here are the measurements if you or anybody else is interested. I noticed the reproductions on feeBay did not have the smaller holes. So if you made these Steve, they would be more correct. Another minor difference - look at the close up picture of the plates I posted. On each end of the diagonal cuts there is another 45 degree cut, so it actually comes out to the edge at 90 degrees. It kinda does the same on the drawing below. For metal thickness: It is slightly thicker than 1/8" - maybe 10% thicker. 1/8" = 0.125 then add another 10% - so about 0.1375 inches thick. Checked thickness table for mild steel, and 10 gauge steel is 0.1345 inches thick - so 10 gauge is my best guess for thickness on these plates.

Wow! Those look nice! Probably won't be a huge demand for them, but someone will need them every once in a while for restos and conversions. Scott.

Those reinforcement plates look dead-on! I wish I would have noticed this thread before buying the not-as-accurate reproductions. Nice job!

do you have a waterjet shop in your area? I can send the .dxf file they need, and all you need is a piece of 10GA material. (.135", 3.5mm)
