Air Grabber hood weight?

Post by PHJ426 » Tue Aug 13, 2013 11:10 pm

Anyone know the weight of a fully assembled 71/2 RR air grabber hood?

Also how much heavier is it to a standard RR hood?

How about guesstimates?

Last time I helped install one was a few years ago......

my guess is 90 pounds with the air grabber parts on the hood.

Heavy and very uncomfortable to install. Standard performance hood isn't much lighter.

I'd say this is pretty close - I figure around 90-100 lbs, the air grabber fiberglass hood insert must be close to 20 lbs or more
400 stroked to 470ci, 3:55 Eaton true trac, slightly upgraded suspension lol
