Road Runner Nest

Hello everyone,

Although I'm new to this forum as a member, I've been reading posts on here for quite a while now.
The name's Bob, I live in British Columbia, Canada. I own 73 RR 440 stroker 512" 4 spd street car. I know it's customary to post pics so I'd like to ask if this is the right section on the website to post them.

I do have a question, I'm working on my wiring and have read that because I have an isolated K member (rubber donut bushings), it's really important to have a body to frame ground, if so, can someone tell me where its supposed to go? I have a ground from battery to the body and battery to the engine block as well as engine to firewall but I maybe missing this one body to frame ground. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the Nest Bob! Would love to see some pictures of your car - there is a thread already started in the General section for B-body pictures - or start a thread of your own.

As for your grounding question - Our 71-74 B-bodies are unit body (unibody) constructed, so the body shell and sub-frames are all integrated and connected. So there should be no grounding issues there. The isolators for the K-member are mostly for dampening noise and vibrations from the road. Since there are no electronic parts attached to the K-member (just your wheels, suspension, brakes, and power steering), there should be no reason for grounding it. I don't claim to be a Mopar "Guru", so if anyone knows differently please chime in! Scott.
