Strobe Stripe Placement

Post by morty318 » Thu Jun 27, 2013 10:56 pm

Another mystery for you guys, my car has a strobe stripe, but whoever installed it put it down the middle of the pillar, I know this is incorrect, it places the bird behind the wheel well, looks funky, can't find any guides on how close it is supposed to be to the rear window opening, have seen so many different versions, from 2 or 3 inches away to right up against it, is there a standard somewhere??

the original stripe on mine runs at a different angle than the window opening you cant really go by that, however you are right that it should not be in the center of the post. the bottom strobe with the bird should be centered over wheel opening.
