transmission question

Okay, I think by now some are starting to wonder if I know any thing at all about Mopars haha. It's been 10 years since I last touched one so please bear with me, I am slowly getting back up to speed. I do have a few quick questions concerning 727 big block transmissions. I am going to pick one up this weekend and need to know:
Proper tailshaft (keep minds out of gutter
) length for 72 runners?
How to tell difference between lock up and non lock up?
And which one is better and why?
will current driveshaft on sb transmission work? if not what is proper length to look for?
