I find it hard to believe that nobody on this site knows the proper location for mounting the front spoilers. Please anyone. :help:

Your gonna have a hard time finding that without having a factory car to look at and measure. Those diagrams probabaly went into garbage shortly after assembly changed. - I don't know of anyone around that has one in SE-WI. Of course there is only 5-6 I've seen around here. Have you tried talking to Kal down at Hub South parts? If anyone in the area would have the Diagrams, it would be him.

Try your question on moparts where there are far more people to see it.

The front spoilers really didn't have a standard. It is a trial by fit process for my Super Bee. I just lined up the spoiler along the contours till there were no gaps. Then marked the holes with a marker and drilled away.

Have you tried anyone at www.fpap.com

They make the repos, if anyone would know it might be them.

Have you browsed thru the picture section here and see if there are cars with them on? If not I have a few pics of cars that have them. It is abit of trial and error to get them right. For me I didn't like the way the factory kicked up the outside edge as it wrapped around the outside of the car- so a leveled mine out. I like it- but it's not how the factory would have done it.

It's a good 20/20 car. - still in progress,( and probabaly will be). I'm like 20 minutes north of you in Hartford- I can swing down on a nice day- no problem. I go to Neosho/Ashupin? to avoid the refomulated weasel piss they sell in the emmisions counties That way you can see how they look inperson. I have the fiberglass repops- they weren't exactly formed symetrical. So they are twisted just a bit. But you'll get the idea. PM me and we can talk.

You have to bring yours out to Quaden. I will drag Jason down there,( he has the 3rd Black 71 here in town), this time. That would be killer to see 6- 71/2's lined up,( no offense to you 73/4 guys).

BTW- STEVE- when is Quadens show this year. I checked WMMC and I didn't see the Calender for this years events yet.

The WMMC show at QuadenDodge is June 5th 2005 ....that would be AWESOME if we could get 6 to 7 71-72 Plymouths all parked together.
I also attend the Belvidere Mopar Happening
July 16th-17th, 2005 at Boone County Fairgrounds
It's a regional event were they get 6 to 10 71-74 RR/GTX/Satellites in our own class at the show. I'll post a picture from there too.

Here a shot of 6 of the 8 71-74 Plymouths at the Belvidere show.
Image

I also have a shot of a 72 w/ chin spoilers on it though they were not an option in 1972. I might have another better shot a work...let me see.

Hope this helps ...sorry about hi-jacking your thread.

A buddy of mine just picked up an original spoiler car shell. The fenders are too far gone, but the original valance is there. I'll try to get measurements sometime soon.

These look like they lay back too far at the top--should be more "upright".

Here's a 71 RR the chin spoilers.
Image

Here's a 72 RR/GTX that a should have bought and the owner added chin spoilers ....I think these are more correct than the other 72 RR w/ chin spoilers shown above.

I might have some more pictures if you need them.
