AM/ with a cassette!!

my 71 rr was suppose to come with one (R26) but it is LONG gone--does anyone reproduce those or do i have to look for them at swap meets--OR>>>> anyone have an extra one somewhere?

They are really expensive because people like us are willing to pay that price for the correct factory look!

I got lucky and found one in the wrecking yard, out of a Sat. Station Wagon for $10. I have no idea if it works and frankly, don't care.

i saw the high prices they wanted for a am/ cassette player---NOT gonna pay that for something i will never use---i might find a used non working one ---and have in there for the originallity of it----that would be it!

I would assume that the AM Cassette radio is much harder to find than the AM/FM cassette radio.

YES! The AM cassette radio is very difficult to find. I spent years looking for one for the GTX. The AM/FM cassette radio is much easier to find. Plus, a lot of the time they usually work. I may have a spare one sitting around. I will have to look.

AM cassette radio, 150 dollars tops
AM FM cassette radio, 200 dollar
All pics of radio so far are E-body not B-body ones

there 3 amfm radios mono stereo stereo with :D cassette

In canada I find that the am/fm is harder to find than just the am. there is a am for sale on moparts for 40$ right now under 71up bbody parts FYI

at moparfeast a am fm 25.00 :D it was mine it did not sell :beer:
