Re: paint code HT8
I found a code in my 1971 Body Service Manual for a GT8 which was Tahitian Walnut. It was available on Chrysler, Imperial, Fury, and Valiant. None of the Colors listed in my book have an H as the first letter. It might be one from 1972 or later. I say this because most of the non "carry over" colors from 1971 start with a G.
Also, look at the question about 1972 RR color code. There is a color chip chart down a ways which has a T8 listed as Chestnut Irid.

HT8 in 1972 for the Road Runner line is referred to as Chestnut Metallic. I like it, but I have a friend who's changing his to Sassy Grass Green ("Green Go") because he doesn't like that original color. There's way more '72 RRs repainted SSG than there are HT8 Runners out there.
