Hello All, Did a '71 440, W/O A.C. come with a fan clutch? I have a clutch / fan blade assy.from a '72 Charger I want to install on my Non A.C. '71 GTX 440.
Any Thoughts? Pros/Cons? Gary......

my 71 non A/C had a clutch and it was a 383
400 stroked to 470ci, 3:55 Eaton true trac, slightly upgraded suspension lol

Yes, a 1971 GTX 440 without Air Conditioning DID come with a fan clutch. Part number on the clutch is 3462112.

Thank you for the replies. I am going to install the Thermal clutch and a Rad.Shroud that were missing on my car when I bought it.Car runs a little hot in traffic during 90 + deg.days.I will be removing the 26" rad that came w/car and installing one that has mounting holes for the shroud.At least they are both copper/brass.
