Road Runner Nest

I'm looking to redo the interior in my car and I want it to be as close to show quality as I can reasonably afford. I am in need of B5 blue seat covers (buckets and rear), seat foam (not neccessary, but I think it's worth it to replace), carpet, headliner, door panels, and a dash pad. I've looked at several vendors and am seeking suggestions about the quality and fit of their parts. Below are some of the vendors I've checked, so please let me know if you've had experience with any of these vendors and parts so I can try to make an informed decision before I buy. Any and all suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

PG classics seems to have the lowest prices, but I've heard mixed reviews about the fit of their parts. I'm very interested in their repro dash pads, seat covers, and seat foam. Has any one tried their dash pad and does it seem to fit right, or does it have any other issues I should be aware of?

Also considering Pro Fit Auto Interiors and PUI Interiors for seat covers and foam, which appear to be similar in price and come in somewhere in the middle of the price spectrum.

Lastly I've seen Year One and Legendary, which seem to be the highest priced. Is there something different between the products offered by these companies that justifies the higher prices?

B/E&A and PG Classics have basically the same products (manufactured by the same company). I've seen their dash pad, and it's one of the few items I was not impressed with. Their hard plastic seat backs are very nice.

I wouldn't buy anything from Year One. They tend to be very high priced and really gouge you with shipping costs. I will say though, the last time I had an issue with something (many years ago) the did have a very good return policy.

Legendary tends to be the go to standard for upholstery. You can buy direct from them or purchase though several mopar vendors.

I would go with Legendary,I got seat covers about 8 years ago for my Dodge A-100 p/u and they show no wear.Also got seat covers & carpet for my '71 GTX and am happy with fit and quality.They make most of their own stuff i beleve.They don't sell Shit made in China.Find them at a car show and sit down w/them.They should make some kind of deal w/you."Show Special"

Seat covers.....Legendary without a doubt. Buy PUI and you will regret it. And the prices are basically the same. Stay away from the PG covers. (Made in China) I have yet to hear anything good about them. Spend the extra $100 and get good made in America covers.

Bucket seat backs, Metros new repros are pretty good. I bought a set recently.

There are no "very good" plastic lower panels being made. The Palco are the best available. The accuform panels are horrible.

Dash pads....No perfect option here. PG or Carolina Superdash are probably the better options . I went with the later. Not perfect, but better than nothing. Stay away from the junk being sold with fiberglass frames. I do not know if it has been corrected, but it was my understanding that PG had vinyl lifting issues with their pads. Which is probably why B/E&A stopped carrying them.

Year one sells Legendary use a coupon and get a discount. I have a set of repo lower door panels I'd sell. ButI wouldn't put them on anything but a driver.If you look enough you can find good oems.If you are doing buckets be prepared for fit issues on the rear seat back from Legendary. They put too much padding in places which makes them wrinkle. Need any help just ask.

The last time I checked, YR1 had switched over to PUI as their supplier of seat covers. That was at least 5 years ago.
