Need to know, if the 70 thru 72 B Body disk brake spindles were different from the newer cars. I have Diplomat spindles and 71 rotors and seems like the grease seals are different.

Yes they are different. The 71-2's have a smaller spindle. Imo it's worth up grading to the bigger spindles as the disks for the 71-2's are expensive. This article gives you the low down on what is needed for the swap. The Diplomat units will not work.

Thanks for the info, after a lot of research, I found that out.Actually what I found was the outer bearing is the same, the inner bearing is a little bigger on the newer ones ( 73 - up).I already had the 70-72 discs and can't return them. They are available from NAPA new, USA, made to boot.Any body need them?

You can get an adapter for the bearing and use the discs for 73-74 which are cheaper.

Actually you can use the Diplomat spindles, but you have to use the diplomat rotors, calipers, and brackets.I have done this swap two times now using dodge magnum spindles which are the same.

Ok, heres what I have, BUT didn't know it at the time. The shop that started on my car bought new 70-72 rotors from NAPA, after bringing my car home i bought Diplomat spindles and clapper brackets. didn't know there was a difference. But I do now. So I had to re buy the newer rotors ect. I think Ive got it all figured out now.I can't take the 70-72's back would anyone be interred in them?

Whats the difference between the 70-72 calipers and the diplomat calipers? I have the dip spindle and braces. But I have a new set of 70-72 calipers and can't take them back.
