440 block numbers.

Hey guys,I have a 71 rr that I am putting back together.When I bought it the engine was long gone It is a 383 4 speed car,sherwood green metalic with a full black vinal top,Black buckets with console.A friend of mine gave me an extra 440 block he had that was taking up space in his barn.At the front where the intake is,is the number 7 T 440 EH.Number on driver side of block is the number 400 66530 440 10.Does anyone know year,and what this thing came out of or is it a boat ancher.It turns over freely and is very clean.I would like to know before I do anything to it .Thank you for your help.

The date is cast into the block along with the (cast)id #

Right side? Is that the right side facing foreward? Passenger side?
hate to sound dumb... but I have been looking for the VIN on my 440 for 2 days...
