I have a knob on my dash pad labeled RR SPEAKER. I have seen these on other Birds...what does it do?

Some cars were ordered with a second speaker in the package tray. Non-stereo. That knob was for a adjusting the balance of sound between the speaker in the dash and the one in the package shelf.
4th generation B bodys- there is no substitute.
