To revive an old thread. 71rm23 how do I contact Jim Boros I have a 72 Charger SE with a power sunroof von G70464 built June 6 72 from what I am reading there is no way 399 SEs had sunroofs especially since I have the 464 the Chrysler made with a roof. I have tried repeatedly to get a hold of Galen but it is of no use. It is also a Y39 pub relations car also.

I have a 1971 Plymouth RoadRunner RM23N1G..... car that currently has a 440 +6 in it and a factory power Moon Roof. The Moon Roof motor, belts, etc. were replaced in 1999 during restoration. I have owned the car since 2007. I read that the fender tag code for moon roof option was M51 but there was also a combo code that included the canopy roof etc. Does anyone know about this?

Good to see you back on the nest. Yes, the option code M51 for the power sunroof was not put on the St. Louis fender tags. It does show up on the buildsheet if that still exists. I am not aware of a combo code for the sunroof and roof. The vinyl roof was supposed to be mandatory when ordering the sunroof. In 71 you could get a full vinyl roof V1_ or a canopy vinyl roof V4_, with the blank being the color code. These roof codes should show up on the fender tag.

st Louis car didn't have the m51 code but do have a G99..... on the fender tag and will also be on the broadcast sheet
