So I'm going through the GTX and have found a couple things I can't figure out, because I'm an idiot...
What does this tag designate/what's its purpose? I found it UNDER the fender tag:
What steering wheel center cap did '71 GTX's come with when ordered with a rim blow wheel? The center cap on mine doesn't look quite right - but maybe it's correct? The perimeter is comprised of a soft vinyl with what feels like foam on the inside, and the center of the cap looks like it's missing something? Looks like an emblem would've gone there? Check it out:
Thanks in advance for the help guys - I'm a Mopar noob and will have plenty of questions, so please bare with me

The metal tag under your fender tag is for inspector's stamps. On most cars, it was broken off at the factory, but some made it through with the tag intact.
Here's a photo of the correct steering wheel center

Eric - You're the man! I couldn't find anything about the inpectors tag on the net - even though it's not too significant, it's cool that it survived all these years. And thanks for the pic of the steering wheel - I'll just add that center cap to the endless list of things I need to buy
Any idea what the center cap on mine came off of?
Thanks again, bud!

You'll find Eric is indeed the man when it comes to the wealth and depth of knowledge he has regarding '71 through '74 Road Runners. I don't know anybody who's documented more of them than Eric, save perhaps the godforsaken Galen Goobier.

The day Eric starts moving things around to take a photo of a persons fender tag without asking the owner, now THAT will be the day to start calling him Eric Goobier!

I don't know that the options and accessories report has been posted for 1971 RP23 cars.
I think the paint numbers found on this web site are for the combined Satellite line including all cars.
I have the paint break downs for the RL21 and RM23 for 1972 cars.
EV2 was 3rd most popular color for 1972 RR's but only 1% of RL21 cars painted EV2
That being said EV2 was a pretty popular color on RM23 RS23 and RP23 cars would be top 6 or so.
