904 vs. 727

904 vs. 727

Ok my buddy just told me a 904 would be better for a 360 or 318 because it takes less horse power to run than it does a 727? What do you guys think

904 is probably more common on a small blockfrom the factory for sure and if beefed up could handle 400 horse torque which is a lot for a 360 I believe the 727 is a lot beefier and will handle a lot more horses thus the 727 was used on a lot of high powered muscle cars...also the 727/904 are different lengths make sure you have the right sized driveshaft....to handle the switch.
Sometimes I get to feeling that if Xmas, Fathers Day and my Birthday did not exist, then aftershave too would not exist.
