Air fuel fixture in high altitude

Post by dags » Tue May 10, 2011 10:05 pm

I recently moved from New York to Colorado (6000 ft above sea level) bring my 73 340 4spd Roadrunner with me. Does anyone know how to fine tune a Barry Grant 650 Street Demon carb. I knew this would occur regarding the engine not being able to keep an idle. I think the carb is straving itself due to thin air. How many turns of each mixture screw I should turn in or out to get the right or close to air/fuel mixture.
Thanks for any help
