I am redoing a 71 roadrunner,I also have a 72 sat. sebring plus. The problem I have is what is this piece called and where can I find them. The bottom of the windshield is in fine shape and the cowl and firewall are all in great shape, but when you drop over the sides where the door hinges go it gets a little shakie. The bolt holes are ok,but at the bottom and around the seam it is rusted through.Same probem with the 72 parts car....please help...

Mine had some rot in the same place. Below the lower door hinge towards the front. All the leaves and crap get stuck there and over the years rust starts. I cut the rot out fabricated and welded in a new piece.

My car has the same problem. Fortunately the 73 Satellite doner car had good sheet metal in that area. Check out some pics of the rust problem and the patch at the top and bottom of page 2 of my cardomain site. I am still working on funds for a good welder so I can get busy with all my patch panels. Good Luck!

I believe AMD makes those parts for E-bodies and hence our Runners...

Oh, and if that's the right part, contact our own Jeff Brown to hook you up. You couldn't ask for a nicer, more reputable AMD dealer to handle your order.
