Are any of the repo wheel moldings worth buying? seems to be a bunch of them out there now, all in the 300-325 range. Must all be made by the same mfg? I remember Layson's (I think) that had a warning about the quality right in the product description. I need all 4, of course. NOS set was on EPay, asking 1500$

I guess the last NOS set I sold was a deal at 1200.00. :)

I have one of the first sets of wheel opening moldings from Laysons on the butterscotch car. They fit pretty well and I don't recall much difficulty with the install (other than a couple of the prepunched holes not lining up with the holdes in my fenders.
One caution about Laysons in case you don't know. Don't order anything from them, only buy in person at a show. They are famous for taking your money and not sending the parts for months or years....
