Header coating
Have a set of headers for the 383 CID engine for my 74 RoadRunner. Looking for a decent e-coat or similar that will hold up to the heat. Even "High Temp" paint won't do it, and I don't want to wrap the headers in paint. Anybody know of a good coating and some place near Wisconsin to get it done? I'd like to see the headers still look good after getting some run time, since she hasn't seen the road in 35 years!!

Don't want to use the high temp tape that they are advertising either.

Re: Header coating
The guy that does my powdercoating has been powdercoating headers for years. He says the stuff works. Depending on the colour there may be some discolouration. I plan on having mine done.

Thanks for the feedback. I live in Cambridge, but the shop that currently has the car is in Portage. Either way, Sheboygan isn't that far away. We'll be making contact with them to git 'er done!
