Welcome to the NEST.
For the physical bumper lift the front of the car if you can and remove front wheels.
Then it is easy to unbolt the bumper brackets from the front frame rails.(with the bumpers still attached)
It is possible to reach up and around to unbolt the bumper from the brackets but a tight squeeze.
Most try to leave the grill work intact and attached to the bumper then remove the grill.
May be foggy and missed something.
Any one else feel free to correct me.
Not sure how to remove paint from bumper without scratching it.
PS. tell us more about your car.

Well there probably is not much chrome left under the paint, as it would have to be roughed up to give the paint something to stick to.

Just a thought............. Did the car come from the factory with painted bumbers because that would make it a rare optioned car and might be worth keeping it like that.

Your English is good do not worry.
Chrome paint has been discussed many times.
Never had one person happy with chrome paint.
That's why so many of us paint the bumper body color or in my case
flat black.

Save your money, and eventually get your bumpers rechromed. I've seen the good chrome Allcad paint work pretty good on model car parts. But when it has to be put on a surface as large as a real chrome bumper. It just doesn't work all that great. The first time your painted bumper gets nicked, you'll be upset. Paint is no where near as hard as a chrome finish. I bought a rechromed front bumper for the front of my '72 Road Runner off of ebay last year. Cost me $300 with shipping. If you can't afford that much. I don't know what to tell you.

There really is NO ugly Road Runner!
The beauty may just be below the surface.
I keep telling myself that anyway.

Save yourself Time and Grief and save up for a rechrome bumber................ The bottom line with your car is you have to ask yourself "How long do I plan on owning this car" Then just accept the fact that Rome was not built in a day. Take your time do it once but do it right. When people see your car as it is now it is easier to explain that you are looking for a rechrome bumper than to show them you went cheap on it...it makes people think where else did you cheap out on the car. I drove my car a whole year with the vinyal top removed before I saved up and put a new one on..I could have just painted the top.
Listen just spend a little bit every year on the car and as time goes on the car gets better and better and as anyone in the nest will tell you....You have to spend a little every year on these cars...take your time go to swap meets.
