Air Grabber Switch

Hey all. This is my first post. I am excited to be a part of the group! I just took possession of my good friends 71 Plum Crazy Purple bird.

I have been looking for a photo of the air grabber switch mounted in the cabin. My car has the Air Grabber, but it opens via vacuum on cranking. Anyone have a picture? I know very little about Mopars. I have been craving one for years now. My buddy is a die hard, but he doesn't have any photos of the switch in the car. Thanks for the help!

The air grabber switch is mounted on the lower left side of the dash. If you look underneath you will see three rectangler holes with screw holes next to each. The switch mounts in the middle one if memory serves me. Don't have a pic handy but can get one. I'm sure someone will post one. Is the car a real grabber car or did someone put one on it?

I am not sure. My buddy has owned like 5 or 6 of these cars. I think the car is actually a Satellite Sebring Plus if my memory serves me right. The dash is custom, so I don't have a slot there. I have been debating about replacing it with a factory dash. I don't know how to post a pic of it.

Can you post a photo of the drivers side, showing the entire dash board? Looks interesting

Here is some of the custom stuff done to the car that I think you are wanting to see. This car has sat in a field for about a year...hence the shape it is in. I am a little embarrassed to post these because I know what the car used to look like. But better to fix now than later. My buddy said he'd rather see me get it than have it rot in a field. He is an helicopter fabricator so i know a lot of the custom stuff is made from t-6 aluminum and aircraft parts. I know he redid his heater box, and door handles out of aluminum. The third brake light is from an old Plymouth. I think like a 1932 or something. It is glass and it has a ship in the middle of it. I wish I knew more about it All I know is that he is a die hard Mopar guy.
