Roof rail weatherstrip questions 73 Satellite

Folks, the channels for the roof rail weatherstrip. Couple questions
any particular type screw I have to use? I have the rails and can see the old screw marks, but was curous if the screw head had to be anything special.
Do I use any sealer behind them? They still have the rubber strip on the back of them that looks intact?
Is there any kind of adjustment I need to do or do I just screw them back in place?
Last question, I test fitted the new Metro barnd seal in the channel and it is so loose. Do this not fit these cars well? I think I have it in the channel right.
