I have power to my dome light when both doors are shut? The headlight switch isn't rotated to the "on" position either. That would have been too easy. Door jam switches perhaps?
Thanks

Technically you have power (+12v)at the dome light all the time, it's a ground that is provided by the door jamb switches/headlight switch that completes the circuit to have current at the doom lamp. I would start by removing the jamb switches or have someone help you hold the switches in manually at the same time , both disconnected or held in, headlight switch is not turned to the detent, then there is a short on the dome lamp control circuit somewhere. A common problem with those self-adjusting door pin switches, the adjusting sleeve works its way in too far, light stays on with the doors closed. If you're carful they can be readjusted.

I checked both of the door jamb switches. On the d/s I have 3 wires going into the switch. A yellow, another yellow with a black tracer, and a black. On the p/s I have only 2 wires, 1 yellow, and a yellow with a black tracer. Both switches seem to function fine.
