I know the 72 roadrunners got a purple cartoon bird sticker placed in the center of the chrome medallion.
and i see the 71 satellites had the Plymouth stylized arrow thing in their circular header depression.
what did the 72 satellites / sebrings / pluses get inside the chrome medallion, anything ?
I see no sign of anything but chrome and the inset plymouth letters around the outside on mine....
Maybe i can get a round sticker with a red plus [+] sign made for my car ?

Or you could make an SS badge, which would be for "Satellite Sebring".

Might be too close to the SS as used on Chevies
Maybe SSP .
Which brings me to a possible answer as to why the Plymouths did not call their Sebring Plus' an SSP -- maybe it was because at the same timeframe - 1971 - the Javelins had a trim level called SST. I believe it was meant to be short for SuperSonicTransport....always liked those javelins.

I'm sure someone will post a photo of the original medallion for you. But the Satellite has a Plymouth medallion logo on it. They wear out with age if the car sits out a lot. As it's just a sticker like the Road Runner one is.

Thanks, checked the page, about 1/2 the pics didn't come up, and the others were all of the whole car. Oh well, will have to dig deeper.

The satellite emblem for 72 is actually an embossed aluminum piece in the plastic medallion while the roadrunner 1 is a decal. I bought some NOS Satellite ones yeas ago and peeled out the aluminum emblem and put in roadrunner decals

Just wanted to follow up on this thread. I know the Plymouth medallion is available reproduction, as is the RR decal for the center of the medallion. Is the Plymouth foil as used on Satellites available? My medallion looks pretty lackluster, so I plan to buy a new one...just want to figure out what my options are for the center. I suppose if the Plymouth foil is not available..I'll just put a RR decal in the center. thanks!
