Road Runner Nest

Awhile ago I had picked up a couple cans of engine paint,yellow.My dad said I shouldn't paint my engine yellow because dirt shows up faster on It.My argument was that the stock light blue would be the same way,he disagrees.

I wanted to see If anyone had painted their engines yellow and If they regret doing it.Way I see It is it will match my car and I already have the paint.

nevermind Im gonna paint it purple.

i did mine blue instead of orange like i probably should've...the blue still looks good, but it's duller than when first sprayed and i can never manage to keep the underhood area very clean, since the car rarely gets driven, it's mainly just dusty i think

Well I went to auto zone,and then advanced auto and neither had purple engine paint.So i grabbed two more yellow cans.



SOMEONES engine around this house is getting painted yellow.

lol...at one time i had mine painted "hot rod green" with my valve covers and aircleaner in wrinkle black with the letters in bright green...pretty neat
