Is there a size difference between the 1973 & 1974 rubber bumper guards? I've seen them with and without chrome surround moldings pieces for the same year of car. But unfortunately I haven't seen a '73 & '74 sitting next to each other so I could see if there was a difference between the two, or not.

Yes they are different. I had a set of both 73-74. Check the link, there are pics of both years.

Thanks for that website. But I still couldn't quite tell the difference between the two years. But at least I got to look at a lot of neat Road Runner pictures! Although the host evidently hasn't paid his whole bill. As you can't bring up a lot of the pictures!!! Naturally the ones I like is where the guy take the bumper guards off of the car, and just have the bumper. Probably the best one I ever saw in person. Is where the owner of a '73 Road Runner sectioned his rear bumper in half. Removing a couple of inches from it. Then he had it welded back together, and rechromed. Reworked the bumper brackets so that he was able to get rid of the plastic strip that fits between the bumper and the body. So the rear bumper on the car fit like a '71 - '72 style rear bumper. Man, did that ever make that car look super sharp. Yet it looked like it left the factory that way.
