Im asking this as the pervious owner found out the hard way by poking a clean hole right through the air grabber box....Ive got a 72 RR with the 400 CI motor and the proper base plate for the air grabber..How high does the carb stud stick out of the Thermoquad as to not damage the air grab box ...When I bought the car the TQ was in the trunk replaced with a Holley....The TQ is rebulit and going back so I need it correct...What thread size is the stud would help too as the original is missing...Thanks in advance...Jim

Hey Jim, don't know the answer to your question, but how did the NOS inner fender wells that you bought for a steal at Carlisle work out for you? Did Ed J. end up with the TX9 '69 GTX?

Those inner fenders are going to be put in the first week of November....My spot opened up and Im ready for body and paint...Ed just emailed me this week and it looks like the GTX will be his soon...Keping our fingers crossed on that one...

Yep those are firecore wires...Fit was perfect even with all the factory looms..Thumbs up...In the general section I listed all the internals for the motor...Hope to dyno it soon as I want no surprises/leaks ect when I finally drop it in...Thanks for the compliments..
