seat frames

Post by steved » Mon Sep 07, 2009 9:32 am

Were the seat frames for the 4-door and 2 door the same? I know the foam and upholstery isn't. it seems I've mistakenly purchased a 4 door seat bottom with a correct 2 door seat back. (the broadcast sheet was still in the seat bottom) They were a great deal for the condition.

I'm just wondering if I can strip the seat bottom, and use the frame (at worst it'll make a great shop sofa).

Ever see "Pulp Fiction"? You could open a theme bar! I have an 8 way power, leather, high back bucket (red) with back map pocket out of a 71 gtx that weighs at least 85 pounds where can i get a new motor pack for this thing? it only goes fwd and back. I have a bunch of b-body rear seats/frames too.

All wagons and 4 doors had solid, fixed backs and the 2 doors used a split back, to allow you to get to the back seat. I discarded a 4 door bench, the bottom did not have the mounting points for the split back.
