Road Runner Nest

anybody here running their mechanical triple set-up, or any mechanical set-up really....i need to find the fitting to mount the water temp sensor into the water pump....

well, i spent some time at the parts store and answered my own question....so, for anybody going to install mechanical gauges, the fitting needed is 5/8"-18 NPT female to 3/8"-18 NPT male. the 3/8" male end is 5/8" outside diameter, thus resulting in the ability of the sending unit to thread into the block, though the product would never work that way

on a side note, things are finally starting to come together with my 440....motor is being picked up from machine shop tomorrow afternoon, hopefully have time to paint it after work later this week, then assembly will begin this coming weekend hopefully. have my WIX filters and a case of VR1 10-30 coming. i may not be able to get it in the car this weekend, but the weekend after that i have nothing planned, so i'll just keep crossing my fingers and praying lol. it'll be so nice working on something where your hands aren't all dirty and greasy, having stuff fall into your eyes even with safety glasses, etc.
