Tire s rub, any advice?

I have an 73 Satellite custom station wagon. I have 245/60/15's on 7.5 old school et mags, the offset is neutral. On bumps, the front passenger side tire seems to be rubbing on the fender brace, in the wheelwell. I Have not had the car very long, but it drives nice, it is a very soft, cushy ride, and I really like how the tires fill out the wheel well . What can I do?

You stated that your problem is "On Bumps" Is it possible that the shocks are worn out? You might have to crank up the torsion bar on that side just a little. Does your car sit level now? Last resort, smaller tire. Good Luck

Speed bumps- no rubbing, reaching the bottom of the hill, rubs. the car sits level, could stand to be raised about an inch or so in the back, but the front shocks look loike a recent addition, will probably change soon. I really dont want to change the tires, they look "right", but I do have some 14 inch ralleys collecting dust.

You still have your fender brace? Generally not an issue for most of our cars from the North!

Well, since I first posted, a Bradford pear tree decided to spend some quality time with the car,dammage don't seem to be too bad, had to replace the front shocks, 3 wheel studs, the rear shocks (not tree's fault), and looking for rear springs. minor damage to front sheet metal....... anyone tried looking for a fender for a 4 door? tough.
