73 RR Trunk Extensions and Wheelhouse Question

Post by 73X » Wed Jun 03, 2009 8:32 pm

Was just looking over the AMD web site and they show 71 - 74 new extensions and wheelhouses. I was under the impression 73 - 74 were diffrent than 71 - 72 pieces. Has anyone used these new parts on a 73 or 74? My 73 GTX is at a stand still waiting for used or new quarter panels or patch panels and if these inner pieces will work, I can atleast get that part out of the way.

Thanks

Me Too, I wish I had some old 71 - 72 extensions to compare with what's left of mine.

I know I am new to this site, but hope someone can come up with info on this. Cause my 73 has seen better days in this section. I have quarter panel skins I cut off a 74 2 yrs ago waiting to put on..

I'm sure the last time I looked the part numbers for 71-74 wheel wells and trunk extensions are all the same. I purchased an AMD trunk floor and both extensions for my 73 and they look nice. Comparing them to originals there are some small differences so they're not perfect but still pretty good. If anyone would like some pics I'd be glad to e-mail them!
