how many with this option

Post by 72N96 » Wed Sep 08, 2004 1:10 am

I am new and just purchased an all number matching 72RR WITH 400 4SPEED, AIR GRABBER, B5/B5,, bench seat...An odd option like an engine block heater too..Car has about 85% of its orig paint.. I would really like to know how many were made with the N96 air grabber option and how many were made with the rare hood and decklid stripes option code V21 AND V25...I cannot find this information anywhere..Can you guys help..Thanks..Jim

I think I know what the deck lid stripes look like, but what does the hood stripes look like? Just curious. Thanks

I think these are the coolest 72 Stripe option. I love how the hood and trunk stripes really set the whole car off.

Dave ...thanks for posting a picture of a 1972 Road Runner with V21 V25 stripes!
I don't have a means to post photos after PhotoIsland closed.

I remember seeing that car for sale about 4 years ago in the Dakota's? It believe was a 4-speed 400 4v EV2 Tor-Red car. For some reason I believe that is is the same car that was in an article in MCG magazine a few months ago about someone stealing the N96 Air Grabber off of it while it was in storage is somesome back yard. Man, I would love to own that car!
