Power brakes; where to connect the vacuum hose?

I'll skip the long story. Basically I have a 440 with a Holley Street Dominator and an Edelbrock carb. Do I hook up the power brake booster hose to the intake manifold nipple or the back of the carb, or does it matter as long as I plug up the other hole?

Doesn't really matter, I'd hook it to the manifold if it was me, someone is gonna tell you that when the butterflies open, the vacuum at the carb base is gonna drop, but if the butterflies are open, you're tryin to go fast anyway right? :D

Thanks. It's going to be a long day. This is the first time I tried to start her up in about four years and I had gone to bed frustrated (I knew I had set TDC properly, etc.) when it suddenly dawned on me to check the carburetor for any unplugged vacuum ports. I ran downstairs, saw the big gaping plug in the back, and then went back upstairs to try to sleep knowing this is the only thing preventing her from running. What a blond I can be at times.
