Dante's Mopar Parts

Post by Smellslike1974 » Fri Mar 06, 2009 4:46 pm

Has anyone ever ordered from this place...or guy?
http://www.dantesparts.com/contactdante.html

For the third time today I went to go try and find this place but with no luck.
In the past I have emailed them to see If they had a certain part and they responded with a legit answer and all,but this just seems weird.I copied the address from the website and I Google map searched It,and where the address Is It shows no store, and I myself have been where the address on Google says it Is and there Is nothing. Now around where It says this place Is supposed to be there Is a self storage place. And when I just Google the address It comes up the site of that storage place.

I have been trying to find this place for years!

Well I just found out why I couldn't find them.

Dante's Mopar Prats isn't a warehouse,store or anything.

They run their business out of a storage place which to me is pretty shady and confusing.

Huh? Dante is a good guy. Would definately buy from him again, worry free. He's on Moparts quite a bit and I'm sure many people will vouch for his reputation. One quality I always like in vendors is that they actually get back to you and Dante does. I can name many who don't.

If he does such a good job why does he run things out of a storage place?

Maximizing profits is not such a bad thing. .. I doubt if he'd qualify for a bailout. ..

Because his business involves phone/mail order and selling at shows. He has no need for a brick and mortar storefront. Why would he want to incur the extra expense for very little return?

It's a MAIL ORDER business for G sake. It just as well could be a PO box.

It is a box.

Having a business like his,how does he handle returns?I mean if hes using the storage facilities address wouldn't the packages be dropped off at the place itself? It has to get confusing at time.Unless maybe Dante has something worked out with the manager of the place.I had no clue stuff like this could be done. And for the record i wasn't calling him shady i was referring to the concept of the business.

Ill most likely be ordering stuff from him later on when Im putting my car back together. Thanks everyone.

I know you said you'd order later on but check out moparts.com the Hot deals forum. Dante's is offering I thnk 15% off Moparts member group buy.

From what I know of his rep you couldn't do business with a better guy... unless of course you did business with our own AZNick...

Dante is a good guy, just because he works out of a storage facility is not anything to worry about. :D

Heck i have a PO Box for for an address and I also use my Home address for shipping and returns.
It is really tough to to afford a store front or a warehouse because of the costs these days and really, how often to expect a Mopar guy to show up and buy a part , pretty slim.....
I too have a very storage area for a warehouse and security reasons, I feel safer knowing my parts are secured and under video at all times.
Mopar sales are not Summit or Year One sale levels so we must do what we can, I am sure Dante would agree.....
