Is there a special tool to remove the rear window mouldings, I dont want to crack the glass or do damage to the body or the mouldings.

Yes, there is a special tool to "loosen" the clips from the molding and thereby release the molding. You'll find them at any decent auto parts store. BTW, they aren't unique to Mopars. And like with all things, having the right tool makes the job a LOT easier. Not to mention using the right tool lessens your risk of bending the stainless. (this from a guy who USED to do stainless restoration! )

I agree. I got mine from Snap-on , I think. Its a tool that at one end it is a arrow, curved at about 30 degrees, the other end is the handle. Just slide the arrow part under the moulding(cant remember either pushing or pulling) the clip then the moulding releases. I'll try to post a picture later, if I find it.

MAKE SURE THERE IS NO SILICONE OR ANY TYPE OF GLUE UNDERNEATH THE MOLDING!!

That was the case on my windshield and rear window,previous owner put so much(shouldnt have put any!) it buried the clips and made them impossible to get to.They glued the moldings to the window.So trying to get them off......CRACK!

I didn't see one at the parts store, so I ordered from Eastwood. Do a google search to find Eastwood's website.
