how tall is the mast for a 73 rr bumper jack ?
i have a bumper jack that looks like the 73 rr jack . but i think its to short .
and if anyone has one could you please post detailed photos of the bumper jack so i can compare and restore mine please

You talking about the metal piece that one side of the jack goes into right?

the mast is the long rod that the jack devise geos up and down on . i need to know how tall the jack is , and if some body could post photos of a jack so i can use it to refeance in restoring a jack . basicly what color the jack is . ive seen them in black and gray .

I am not sure if my jack is the original but it was in the car when I bought it 10 years ago.
The mast is just under 36 inch tall and the base is painted gray. It does line up and fit into the slot on the bumper allthough I have and probably never will use it. I would have a friend bring a floor jack if I had a flat.
Tried to attach a pic but can't re-size it. Can e-mail it to you if you want.

The base on mine is the same as a .318 engine blue. The mast on mine isn't painted. I'll post pics of mine as soon as the daughter is up and she can use her digital camera and upload the damn thing. . . technological brat that she is. ..
