Late build 71 that has 72 left inner fender

I noticed on my 71 RR, it has what appears to be a 72 left inner fender. My build date in May 23rd. I would like to verify that this inner fender was there from the beginning so I'm asking anyone with a late build RR,GTX,Sattelite to let me know what they have as an inner fender.

The circled area on the pic shows the hump that is not there, at least on an early build car.
