Road Runner Nest

I have some headers I'm trying to identify. They came with my ex-car, a 1969 big-block Satellite; however, they're a little older and I don't know if designs have changed. Shouldn't they be stamped with a part # somewhere? I'm sure they're either Hooker or Hedman. I guess I can go to Jegs or Summit and see if the picture matches. I'll post a pic if anyone thinks they can help. Looks like the tubes were flattened in various spots on the driver side to help with clearance. They are 3-bolt flange. They are flat black. Not that this helps much, LOL.

I want to use them in conjunction with a tti exhaust system since I already have the headers and the exhaust system is cheaper if you bolt them to your own headers, but I need to know the make before I can order the exhaust. Or should I stick with stock manifolds? I'm trying to save money and not buy the tti headers since they are way expensive, but then later down the road if I decide I want the tti headers, the rest of the tti exhaust won't bolt to them. Decisions, decisions... Advice, please?

i wouldn't use manifolds (just me of course) i bet i saved at least 60 pounds, and the performance boost is an incredible difference....idk about headers having part numbers on them...the set that came on my car was plain, but the ones on there now have a big hedman made in the usa deal welded onto them

Yeah, I've been doing what I can to put the car on a diet (aluminum intake, aluminum wheels, heads (eventually), etc.) I've seen big engines making big power through stock manifolds (550hp, etc.), but I can't imagine what it'd make if it had a decent set of headers on there. I know there are annoyances with headers, but I want to run them and if this set doesn't fit properly (my car has power brakes, power steering, yada yada), I might just bite the bullet and get the tti headers with their exhaust. I was just hoping to save some coin and reuse these headers. They seem to be in decent condition, but tti needs to know WHAT they are. I have no idea! Maybe I can give them the measurements or something...

you could get any exhaust system...flowmaster (pricey, but so is tti), or get a summit or jegs kit...tti probably wants to make a perfect bolt in kit, where the other ones may need a little modifying to fit right

I have a set of Hedman hanging on the wall. They have no part # but there is a plate which has the Hedman name on it.
I can send you a pic and maybe some reference to help you I.D. what you have. Got them several years ago from Summet, may be able to find their part#
