Overpriced (IMHO), but a real nice looking combination.

We'll see what it does on Ebay

Another Windsor car with a console, but no C16. Also has the C12.

Southern Motors seems to find alot of '71 & '72 RRs and '71 GTXs. The C16 code is right next to the C12 code on that tag.

Well they they say its a dana 60 with 3:54 sure grip and that seems to be another windsor car without an axle code on its tag.

I've never seen the axle code (9 3/4 3.54) for 1972 RR/GTX 400 4v 4-speed on the fender tag.
It was a manditory option on 400 4v 4-speed cars.

Yes and look another Windsor car with C12 option.

Also that much money (OK beautil car and it's my dream car ... 1972 RR/GTX 4-speed) but why put a 71 front bumper on it!?

Only clue i got to what might come with it is this. So you are saying Dana 60s were standard behind the 440 in '72 when in '71 for the most part as i understand it the dana 60 was an option behind their standard 440? Help I'm still learning here and been wrong many times

Danas were standard behind 440 4spds in 71 and 72.

I believe starting with 72, the Dana was no longer an option behind the Torqueflite as it had been in previous years.

I'm guessing you meant 440 4v. Dana 60 was not available with the 400.

Correct and also correct not available on 400 4v and 340 4v cars.

Nice looking car, too bad it's not coded for the hood/fender stripe.

Too bad it's not a numbers-matching car either...non-original drivetrain according to the seller.
