How do you get door handles off?

How do you get the door handles off of a 71? I am needing them off to prime and want to get some tips before I tackle it.

Lift it UP, you'll see the bolts...

you talking about the insides or outsides??
if they are the outsides, you'll need to remove the plastic inner panel and look thru the holes in the door, i think there are 2 nuts, 7/16?, the hardest part of this is removing the little clips for the lock and latching mech.
