Ok I was looking at a old mopar magazine I found from back in '94 and there is a GTX in there that they call "one of the most factory correct GTXs in the hobby today" Well in the 1st pic I'm posting I'm wondering what is mounted just ahead of the factory exhaust tips.
Here is the pic.
I have never seen anything like that mounted on a GTX before. Is that something that the factory would do or is it just something they added. To me it looks like some kinda of exhaust cover/insulator. Any ideas?
Oh and since that pic will interest AZ-Nick here is the
other one from the mag.
BTW this classified ad in the back of the mag tells you how old the mag is:

Oh yeah I forgot this
pic as well of the engine compartment for those that want to see it. Looks like a pretty full fender tag to bad I can't make it out.
note: I always make most of my pics as links cause I like to make the pics as big as possible as they come from my scanner or camera.

Ok just trying to keep in mind what would be correct for my car. So that car is not correct in having the resonators then? {edit} ok I now see the post right above me I need to refresh more often. So the answer is no.
Offtopic: Nick I know you are always looking to see other GY8 GTX and I found this
one on e-bay. I know it has been there before I just never bother to decode its fender tag. Seems like it was Gold/gold with gold accents. So either that car has the wrong tag or someone sure went through alot of trouble to make it triple black.
