71 taillamp screws... SOLUTION FOUND!!!!

went to the hardware store today just to check it out...and they HAD them! i bought 2 lengths because i wasn't sure how long to get with the taillamp bezels, but they work and look great...chrome plated phillips head as original WOOHOO

lol no joke i could start a business buying them and selling them :lol:

they are 8/32" by 1.5" with bezels (1.25" without) machine screws...they were 11 cents each...i'll get some pics maybe tomorrow...if someone doesn't have a hardware store nearby i could get some (i have 8 1.25" right now since i didn't know what length to get) and mail them to help a brother out 8)

oh well...i thought i was gonna have to drill em out and tap them, or drill em out, then put in anchors (like for drywall) then use sheet metal screws...i'm glad these worked great...only took 2 minutes instead of hours...now i don't have to worry about my taillamps or bezels falling off :lol:

I got them in stainless,the 1" fit but the 1.25 gives a little more bite.Thanks again :beer:
