been trying to muscle in a power seat drivers side cordoba, in my 71 ssp been a royal pain, looking at it , the looks are about the same as a 74 roadrunner, had the same type of backing and all, but the studs on brackets were a little over 13" verses 12 and a little over 15 across, and i think its sitting kaddywampus?? any one had this trouble before, i wanted b-body seats but not e-body prices

years ago I put a set of doba black leather seats in a 71. I don't remember having any problems with them fitting in the holes, but they did sit on an angle. I put some spacers in and they sat straight.

thanks buddy, maybe because the drivers side is power, the mounting brackets are different??maybe i should have started with the pass side, i think another reason i am having trouble is i think the car was originally a bench seat, it had some nice looking black buckets in when i bought the car, but they were van seats or truck seats, they wouldn't even raise up to get in the back seat

Original bucket seat cars had a metal stiffening plate on top of the floor pans at the inner hole locations. Not having this may cause your seats to not be level

and those stiffening plates are not included with the floor pan of a bench seat car. There's a guy selling them on e-bay out of Mentor, Ohio, and he's not as salty as Year One or the Paddock.

If you find then in eB let me know. I could use them too.
I tried searching eBay with no luck. What are they listed under?
