I had the exact same problem with some I bought on ebay, they were PUI brand. I called the paddock yesterday to ask if the ones they had were the same brand, but he wouldn't tell me. According to the catalog the paddock rear quarter felts are supposed to have the chrome inserts. R/T Specialties is supposed to have a correct fitting and looking kit, but they have not emailed or called me back as of yet.

email me when you are ready to purchase the correct set for your 71-72.
As I told Jerry last week there is only 1 company that makes them correct..... Nick

The cat whiskers from the Paddock is PUI brand, or at least they were when I bought their kit 1½ years ago! I had the same problem with the rear windows, got Paddock to send me 2 pieces of straight cat whisker that I could then bend to fit myself. (this will probably be a difficult job!)
In the end I desided to buy the kit from AZ-Nick and it fits great!

I don't think anyone is trying to say 'told ya so' or to rub it in

. I think we have all been there before. I ordered something from Laysons a few years ago, and I was very disappointed. If you ever buy from them, do it at a swap meet like the nationals, where you SEE what your buying. I know I'm not the only one who feels like this.

I have many friends who bought things from Laysons and they wont go back. They say the customer service sucks and they miss up your order. One friend in particular sent in some arm rest bases to be re-chromed, Laysons lost one

Laysons is more into the A body stuff more than anything. JMO
