i picked up 73 ssp last weekend and its got a damn nice interior, but i've never seen one before. my queston is, are there "oh shit!" handles above the front windows? it looks like there are holes for them and ive been emailing salvage yards for them and they keep saying door handles or the seat belt anchors. i hope my head liner wasn't ruined it's only has a slight tear under the sun visor. (pics this weekend)

Most likely what you're seeing is holes for the shoulder harness mounts. If you've got a pic I could tell you for sure. And in front of the mount there are going to be a couple holes for clips to hold the harnesses up when not in use.

Ive never seen Oh Shit handles on a 73/74. Doesnt mean they dont exist like my POWER ANTENNAE!. . .

i thought they were to hold the belt but there were four holes so i wasn't sure, my buddys skylark was like that

The shoulder harness mount has 4 holes--1 large one in the center and three smaller ones around the large one for screws to hold the bezel.
