i'm new here

hi i'm new, just bought a 1973 ssp and i had a few questions. i cant find rear quarters that are repos so does anybody have any, and in the time untill i find quarters what should i use on the rust to prevent spread i know there are many products, and the speedo goes nuts over 60 i know jack about these any help woud be great, and thakyou for havin' me i'm a pain ask my girlfriend

No quarters yet! Search here for similar thread topics. Rumors have it we may see some quarters yet this year.
I'll let someone more informed discuss tackleing the rust issue.

We're all looking for rear quarters. . .
personally, I use rust bullet to stop the spread of rust!

The only right way to stop it is to cut it out....period.

Oh I agree completely. . . but some of us can't afford to cut the entire car away and replace it.
So, right now I've completely stripped my interior--the floor pans are actually in better shape than I expected, and I'm rust bulleting the entire interior this week after surface sanding.
BTW. . .I've never seen this: the car--an original New England car--has some kind of putty seal along the outer edges of the floor pan. It looks like someone poured a straight line of cow shit along the seams. Given the age, it came right off with a simple tug and the metal beneath looks excellent.
What the heck is this stuff?

Yeah id rather not cut anything unless im gonna replace it right after.

It could be some kind of glazing putty type sealer.
