Looking for someone on here that has the GW3 Sno White car. What code was used to repaint your car is it is repainted.

i don't know if this will work for you or not, but the guy who is about to paint my car discovered (after many tries) that he could get my paint (tahitian gold metallic) by using just the Y9 instead of JY9. good luck with that.

Paint

I had my car repainted white. I'll see if I can find the info on the paint. It's enamal, not base coat-clear coat.
I would post a pic, but can't because of size. Don't know how to re-size or send as e-mail attachment.

acrylic enamel is actually ONE of the paint options in the seventies. ..so, your white enamel could be construed as correct!

besides, its a good cheap alternative to the high priced paints out there today. .

You talking about me? My Runner was repainted in 1988, so I don't have any recollection what the paintcode was other than GW3. Sorry! But I know that most any paint house I go to still shows the GW3 paint in their books...

FWIW, we sprayed clear over the GW3 as well although it wasn't "base/clear".
